UPDATE: The sim has been sold! The following is for historical purposes.
I started the sim build back in 2013 and opened this site in 2014. Even though the physical simulator provided me with countless hours of entertainment over the last few years, I hardly used it for much of 2017. To be honest, I was hoping my flying friends would join me in the cockpit, but that never really materialized.
An opportunity came in January 2018 when another enthusiast contacted me through this site. He was looking for assistance in building a sim just like mine. Since I wasn’t using mine very much, I asked if he would be interested in buying mine. He literally jumped on the offer the next day.
He purchased the entire sim and I shipped it to San Francisco, California USA. I then flew out to his home to set it up for him, and it turns out, I think he might be an even bigger aviation nut than me! I then visited the sim a month later to install his new motorized TQ, cooling fan, and remote power switch. When I left, the cockpit was working better than ever!
The asking price was $30,000 USD.
The following items were included with the purchase:

Good morning, sorry to hear that you’re trying to sell your dream machine.
I’m a huge flt sim fan. I’ve settled for the oculus rift, but the limits still exist.
Im ready for the next step, a real simulator system.
Are you still selling your system?
It’s a beautiful cockpit.
Yes, my sim is gone. I may build another in the future when I have more space. Maybe a 737 MAX next time!
Hi, I was researching Prosim and flight Simulators. I am very impressed with what you built. I know you have sold your Sim. Will you be interested in building one with me Or for me. I have the time but I am not confident enough to do it myself.
Thank you for your time.
Carlton
Hi,
If the sim is still for sale, I might be interested. I built a 737 some 12 years ago and sold it 6 years ago. I was looking at the Jetmax with overhead etc and found you have everything I would need including the computers for about the same price. I would need you to come to Alberta Canada to set it up for me, (at my expense) abd get it running. The only item missing is the tiller which I thibk Jetmax will sell me.
Anyway let me know
The Sim is indeed sold and gone, so I can not help there. But, it did include the tiller.
What displays did you use, and where did you get them? I am thinking about building the 737max because I can’t find the correct display size for the 737ng. I want the displays to be thin and mount on the front, not large monitors in the back of the panel divided by software.
I have a full Embraer E190 sim in my living room, and it has thin surface mount displays just like the plane. Total cost for each was around $300 each. I am looking for the same think for the B737ng.
Any info you can provide would be great.
All of the sim displays came with the JetMax. I added the TV for the front view and a touchscreen monitor for charts, operator station, EFB, etc.
By any chance do you still remember where you got your cockpit seat from so I can build my own simulator?
Swiss Sim Shop can be found on eBay at: https://www.ebay.com/str/swisssimshop or on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/swisssimshop/
I’m in Chandler. Do you recall the cross street for Swiss Sim Shop?
Their building is near the 101 and Rio Salado Parkway.
Can you please contact me as I have some questions as I am about to build my own dual seat and I have questions about the import process from Canada.
Hi,
yYou have built a great sim and I have a number of questions for you – or in otherwords I need some help!. I am going with Fly Engravity SST and CP Flight overheads and Pedestal and would like you to contact me at:
mounty247@hotmail.com
and then I can ask you a bunch of questions.
Many Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.
Rob
Hi, I just have a question on your overhead panels, I have Simworld overhead front and AFT panels, I am looking for a suitable arm to hold them just like the one you have from Jet Max, does it hold both panel with the same Arm and does the arm fit on any MIP structure like Fly Engravity? I appreciate your feedback, I had followed your articles and I am quite amazed on how you build your Sim.
Best regards,
Manuel.
The CPFlight overheads have optional rear covers (enclosures). I drilled holes in these to match up to the holes in the JetMax Overhead Mount and attached it. The JetMax OH mount does not include the enclosures the panels fit in, so if yours do not have them, you will need to buy/build them.
Thank you for that I will have to get enclosures that fit as the Simworld does not sell then for their panels, also does the arm fits on Tanya MIP structure on the back say the Fly engravity or Opencockpits? Thanks again
Manuel
The JetMax OH Mount is specifically designed to mount on the back of the JetMax MIP (which has holes for this purpose already). I can’t imagine it would fit on any other MIPs without some serious modifications.
Thank you for the information, that helps a lot, I really appreciate it, I will contact you if I have another question.
Thanks again.
Manuel
My overhead is from Opencockpits. Everything else is Flightdeck Solutions. I purchased their Overhead support brace and made custom bars/arms to attach the overhead to the brace. Very pleased with the result.
Hi, I have a similar system that I would like to sell.
If you know anyone interested, please send them to me.
Based in NJ. Would need to be disassembled by buyer and transported. Includes full 737 MIP and FDS 737 shell.
